In the year of our Manitoba Homecoming 2010, we are
excited to announce the development of a brand new housing project for
seniors in Winnipeg at 26 Oddy Street, in the community of Brooklands.
We are developing a not-for-profit Manitoba style seniors
lifelease apartment complex.
The majority of existing Manitoba style lifeleases have
significantly long waiting lists (some over six years). Due to their
stability and long-term affordability, this form of housing is
extremely attractive to many seniors households.
If you are at all interested, give us a call and we will
send out an information booklet - or -
complete and return a survey
download survey here and at least
get your name on our "interested party list". There is no
commitment on your part to being on the "interested list", this
only allows us to update you on the progress of the project. Remember,
the suites in these types of projects are all fully spoken for prior to
construction completion and if you don't get on the "interested
list", you will be on a long waiting list! Names will be removed
from the list immediately upon request.
If we are successful in our endeavors, each suite will
receive government grants in excess of $60,000 to reduce the construction
costs of the suite. In addition each suite's monthly rent has been greatly reduced
(by an amount roughly equal to half of the property taxes). In
addition, all sponsor fundraising will also reduce the construction costs of
the complex. These government and sponsor contributions will ensure
affordability and quality.
Do not miss out on this opportunity by "waiting until
construction commences" before you are interested. The suites in these projects
are usually completely spoken for and leased up, well in advance of construction even
commencing.
If you have questions please call 982.2000 and a
representative will make themselves available to answer your questions.

Brochure".
The project is well under development and presently targeting fall 2011
for occupancy.
