The proposed project will be located in the City of Dryden at the corner of Van Horne Avenue and Wabigoon Drive, immediately south of the Hospital and in a quiet residential area.  The 6-acre site is near the Government Dock & Wabigoon Lake, the Dryden Yacht Club, Laura Howe Marsh & Walkways, and minutes from the walkway along the Wabigoon River.

LIFE LEASE

The Dryden Lifelease will be a "Not-For-Profit" Lifelease Project modeled after the successful Lifeleases in Kenora,  Winnipeg, North Western Ontario and Manitoba.

Flexibility is provided by allowing the Lifelease tenant to serve notice to terminate the lease. Upon termination of occupancy, tenant Entrance Fees are refunded in accordance with the Lifelease Agreement. In the event of death, the Entrance Fee is refunded to the estate. The tenant doesn’t need to “re-sell” the suite. The sponsor takes care of re-leasing. Stability is provided by the Project's "not-for-profit rents" and the "lease for life". This Project has no "developer investors" who are seeking to earn an income or profit from renting these suites. There is no motivation on behalf of the Dryden Lifelease to increase rents (other than to meet the operating costs of this project e.g. utilities, taxes, etc).
